Trans Central Station is an Orlando transgender support group that was originally designed as an LGBT information source and has since morphed into a general peer-to-peer support group. Trans Central Station welcomes all individuals within the LGBT spectrum, their family and supporters. GIFT provides a moderator to guide the group discussions and provide resources, but the topics discussed are determined by the members present. The general tenor of the group is social, but serious interventions have occurred. Topics can range from WPATH treatment schedules to local providers of services to local businesses that support LGBT individuals.
The group meets from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on the 1st and 2nd Tuesdays of the month.
There is currently not a moderator for this group.
